I'll Fill This Out Later

Kaiju Battle
A.K.A. "In where Steven eats his Veggies"

Darman and Cloak pooled their resources together to raid the body of a fallen comrade, and bring a powered-up Steve along.

There they fought a large roc skeleton, where Cloak jumped up and shot the Roc between the eyes a number of times.

Darman used his sword and earth breaker to aid in the fight.

They blasted through the cave, facing a large demon that was commanding the skeletons, tackling it with pteryodactyl, huge bat and earth breaker.

Session 17: "Cloak Wept"
A.K.A. "Where the Party starts hating each other"

After emerging from the elemental tower, and raising the earthmote, the party was given free room and board at the Helgren inn, and welcome arms to rest and buy items.

Helgren, a former large shipping town in its earthmote days, is little more than a village of approximately 25, with most of them families or workers of the two large farmyards which provide food for the town. It has no current mayor, but the innkeeper/tavern owner keep the peace through his generational bonds and his liquor.

Cloak went about her way, bounding here and there, and stalking mountain lions. Ashana and Aza both researched the city, and what it used to be, while Bolo started asking about the town.

It was the town’s innkeeper that relayed a message to Bolo that a fellow Helgrenian had his sheep stolen by something.

The party tracked down the sheep, finding it to be in the care of Goblins. After slaughtering some, the three came to the encampment.

Cloak had her first adverse reaction to blood in her life.

It was here that they had a loud argument over whether Goblins were, in fact, people. Aza saying they don’t (sworn enemies and all) and Bolo saying they do (given some…murky familiar relations). Aza killed a captive that Cloak had carried.

Bolo bravely challenged the goblin’s leader to man-to-man combat, which ended up being a difficult battle, before Aza got bored and lightning bolted half of the enemy party, taking them out.

Cloak had her first non-bloodlust blood drain, leaving her scarred, and carrying back the captive in her cloak.

Session 16: "Darman, you Glorious Fucking Bastard."
A.K.A. "Wasn't This from Stargate: Atlantis?"

The party continued their expedition into the elemental caves, besting an Air/Death elemental, meeting a new friend in the plane of Earth, and finally, the fierce Fire Whale.

The new friend came in the form of Shaitan, the Earth Djinn that after being beaten, would go back to his plane for a wonderful vacation. Despite the spiders he summoned, they dispatched Shaitan with ease.

The Fire Whale was a pain for the party, spewing lava from its blowhole repeatedly against its foes.

In an unfortunate accident, the amount of blood in the Air/Death chamber made Cloak go into her bloodlust, biting Bolo before being pulled off by Ashana.

After laying in the chair, Aza and Ashana noticed a new door being opened in an empty room. They then walked up and were on their own personal earthmote…

Session 15: "Have you heard of the Fire Whale?"

The party, after a rest outside, went inside the least suspecting cave, finding another adventurer known as Bolo. He told of his quest to deliver something for his master, a farmer back west.

After introductions, the party found a chair surrounded by four torches and an inscription in Infernal. "Whoever tames the four elements will control them."

The party explored the cavern system, made some decent loot, and almost left Cloak tongue tying with the tongue of a Mimic.

They peeked into a fire arena to find a large fire whale, played with air nymphs and defeated a water genie.

Session 14: "He Took Drugs! We need to like have an intervention!"
A.K.A. "If you try to sell Cloak for drugs, she's going to eat your face off."

The party moved on their way to Coralside, the small podunk adventuring town by the oasis nearby the earthmotes.

They settled in, where Cloak decided to buy a new hat, and possibly a monocle, Ashana was to grab a bath after a long day adventuring, and Darman was to make friends.

Darman first approached Vito Hazzif and struck up a long conversation, where much talk of religion, pesh and their various travels were had.

Cloak decided to get completely shitfaced on Tequilale, a specialty in these parts, and attempted to drink upside down, throwing her mug in the air, casting her bat swarm, and catching it once reformed.

Aza stood, for once, passive at the various interactions, save ensuring that Cloak didn't cause an incident, and avoiding guano and thrown beer steins.

It was, however Darman who didn't get the hint with another group, who were sworn enemies of Vito's group (and who Darman first spoke to). Darman managed to sneak cast a spell on their leader, then before going to bed, flicking their leader off.

Whether it was the fact Darman was thicker than a bowl of oatmeal, or the other group were just annoyed to no end, a brawl broke out, where the party eliminated the other group, summarily being kicked out of the bar for destroying a number of tables and for killing people.

The party then went to the cliffs and caves of the area for their next chapter with the Earthmotes.

Session 13: "TANKENVAGEN!"
A.K.A. "Mr. Country Bumpkin Salesman Sir"

The party left Lady Aujing's to study about the earthmotes that were their only lead.

Unfortunately, Cloak's shenanigans with some slavers got herself into trouble, and the party and her beat away the slavers and also by chance, freed the slaves.

In preparation for their journey south, they ventured forward and purchased two caravan wagons, including reinforced wagon parts and a ballista.

The adventure was without problem until the party decided to actively engage two beholders that were in the process of procreation.

A few ballista shots and flurry of blows later…

Cloak acquired a beholder hat and skull.

Session 12: "Don't fuck with someone who might bloodrage when their hymen breaks and eat your face."
A.K.A. "Why Doesn't Anyone Else Name These Things?!"

The party, with the painting, took to their way to Serpent's Ridge to the Temple of Sheyln. There they bid farewell to Ursh, who took a job as a Caravan master in one of Lady Aujing's mercantile endeavors.

Ashana hid her heritage well in Serpent's Ridge, and met the Head Priest of Sheyln. While Aza was away attending to other matters, Cloak was in charge of talking. The pieces of the painting reformed.

Cloak spoke bear to the head friar, which made him excited. He had an acolyte bring out an imp in a box that, in exchange for Cloak speaking like a bear, drew a picture of her.

They decided that due to the research, they should head their way south, looking for Earthmotes.

They wouldn't pass up a chance to swing by Lady Aujing's for a nightcap, and to return the painting, though.

Session 11: "I've lived in the forest for 17 years, I know when people fuck."

The party meets back up with Cloak (Giles still nowhere to be seen) at the entrance to the Dam's Facility. There they meet up with Tris, a half elf armed with two hand crossbows, that Cloak instantly took a hatred for.

Tris explains to the others that there is a large bout of magic happening deeper into the facility. That there are guards that need to be dealt with.

Aza and Ashana find an altar to Karsus, with the word Folly after it, and a number of books related to Karsus and the his origins.

The party ventured forward into the dam, found an unnamed lieutenant of the Black Silence, and after a difficult battle, found two coils, draining the magic out from the remainder of the painting.

With the full painting, it was time for the group to return to Serpent's Ridge.

Session 10: "Ursh gets a meal"
A.K.A. "A Seven Foot Orc Hurtling Through Time and Space."

The Party goes Goldeneye!

After going through the skeleton warriors (Da da da da da da), they approach the underground dam.

The party decides to stealth through this as much as they can, knocking out guards and hiding bodies until Ashana ends up being noticed.

Alarms are tripped, crossbow bolts are fired, and the party nearly wipes until Ursh rages with his Manatee axe, cleaving through the remainder.

The strange thing, however, was that the alarms that were raised were only raised for a short time—almost as if it was a false alarm, or a test. Ashana and Ursh grabbed uniforms from the subdued guards, and Aza, once again, rode in an inanimate object.

When the party got to the dam proper, they went underground. Ursh smelled food, and Ashana found a chef's outfit for Aza.

Ursh stripped his breastplate off, and used it as a food tray, eating the combined stomachs of four or five men.

After scouting any information, the only way was down. The party started to look over the side of the dam after they got back to the dam surface.

It was at this point that the ruse was up, and the party had to jump or die.

Ashana slow fell her way down.

Aza glided her way down.

Ursh used his robe of infinite thread, ran out, cleaved his manatee axe in the wall of the dam, and fell through the pier at the bottom.

Session 9: "You got this, Ursh"
A.K.A. "I'm about to do something very stupid."

The party was awarded various gifts by Lady Aujing—relics from her adventuring days. The party got news from Crusher that there was significant arcane readings coming from a cave network south of Serpent's Ridge. Crusher believes that given the painting's proximity for the other pieces, that might be where the last piece would be.

Aujing says that she is enlisting a caravan to go to Serpent's Ridge. They will be passing through the area. The first two days go without problem, but the last day had a series of skeletons and skeletal horses attack them.

After a series of Indiana Jones style dealings across the horses, the carriage driver being knocked off, they were taken to a former mining cave that led to a dam. There they saw monks of an evil order parading around.
